The Trade Fair for Advertising and Printing RemaDays Warsaw 2016 has just finished

The 12th edition of the Trade Fair for Advertising and Printing RemaDays Warsaw is behind us now. It was a unique and intense time for the organizer as well as for all participants of the event. For the first time the event has been held in a new venue - PTAK WARSAW EXPO centre in Nadarzyn . The new location provided new opportunities but also new challenges. We can pride ourselves on numerous successes and remarkable records, but some difficulties occurred as well. We want to share our reflections with you.

The RemaDays Warsaw trade fair was held on 16th-18th February. As every year, the event’s schedule abounded with interesting lectures and attractions galore which prompted positive emotions among our guests.

The trade show for the first time has taken place in new, much larger fair facilities. We have prepared a hall, with the offer of exhibitors, with a total area of 35 thousand square meters, which could accommodate far more visitors and provide space for additional means of active participation in our event. Thus, on the first day we were visited by much more people than in previous years, and after three days of the event we reported attendance record-braking number of nearly 19,000 visitors. It has risen by 15% in comparison to last year. Along with the growing number of visitors we noticed a significant increase in number of industry professionals participating in the event. Approximately 770 companies (33% increase) representing suppliers of advertising products and services from Poland and abroad appeared in the PTAK WARSAW EXPO centre. What is more, it turned out that the number of foreign visitors (277% growth) was much higher than ever before. Due to more exhibition space available there were more, because14, rest areas with bars, what significantly raised the comfort of participation in the fair. We have made a lot of effort to ensure the comfort for such a large number of exhibitors and visitors. With your convenience in mind there were 3 registration points and 3 dressing rooms were open, what translated into smoother guests traffic and reduced waiting time. Our guests had also over 5.5 thousand parking lots at their disposal and the option to arrive to the fair by free buses.

Thus, the RemaDays show proved to be very fruitful. However, we are aware that we failed to anticipate all difficulties which require more attention and are identified by us as area for further improvement. Among such matters we have especially noticed the ones related to infrastructure, which for the time being is not adjusted to the event of this size. They include in particular problems with providing the Internet and the lack of mobile networks coverage, what make it difficult to communicate during the fair. The owner of the halls assured us that any shortcomings related to this subject will be immediately refined, however, we still regret not being able to solve this issue in time. Another point is the number of toilets, which turned out to be insufficient. Today, we assure you, that we will do our best to prepare more toilets for the next year edition. Thank you for your patience when waiting to enter the fair grounds and apologize for any difficulties associated with arriving to our show. We assert that during the next edition of the RemaDays Warsaw we will improve accessing PTAK WARSAW EXPO and take care of the additional signs to avoid traffic problems.

Exhibitors and visitors found out the winners of the traditional contests. On the first day of the Warsaw event the Crown Advertising statuettes were handed out. The best companies in particular industry sectors received them - Out&InDoorSystems, GiftsWorld, TechnologyPark, PrintShow. On the same day The Prize of Innovations was handed out too. The jury awarded gold, silver and bronze medals for the most innovative products of 2016. On Wednesday, February 17 mostly visitors held their breath. The guests, who threw their business cards into special box, took part in a unique prize draw. The luckiest person was Mr Radosław Aleksander Mastalski representing company RM Studio Radosław Mastalski. It is why he could return from the fair on his brand new, shiny Harley-Davidson Street 750. On the last day of the Trade Fair for Advertising and Printing RemaDays we also found out who are this year winners in contests for the best promotional gifts and a catalogue of 2016 (Gifts of the Year, Catalogue of the Year). The award ceremony was held during prestigious business breakfast dedicated to Solid Work in Business partner programme.

To sum up, the change of location resulted in a record number of visitors and exhibitors, gave the opportunity for the presentation of the offer to wider audience than ever before and contributed to the increase in comfort of participation in the event. All our efforts had one basic goal - to create the conditions conducive to good commercial relations which after the fair will result in new contracts and business contacts. We, therefore, hope that we achieved this objective and the nuisances, for which we would like to apologize again, will not distract it. We will do everything in our power to eliminate them next year.
